We — your hosts — speak English, Spanish and Italian. On the ground in Patagonia, the local caretaker doesn't speak English, so a translation app is a good ally; we're always on call if you need us.

No special vaccinations are required — there is no malaria or cholera risk in Patagonia. For medical care, both Puerto Aysén (about 35 minutes away) and Coyhaique (about 45 minutes away) have hospitals with emergency services; the Hospital Regional de Coyhaique is the main referral center for the region. Chile also has high-standard private hospitals in Santiago. Many international medical insurance and global assistance plans can support access to care in Chile, but coverage always depends on your specific policy.
